Dustin began his financial career in the insurance field, but he quickly moved to the mortgage industry because he saw how fulfilling it is to help people take the next step in life with homeownership. He is well rounded with the loan programs available through First State Mortgage and can assess the borrower’s needs, wants and goals to find the best program that fits their situation. His philosophy is that the best loan officer is also the best teacher. He believes in educating the borrower and making sure that they are informed in each step of the process. Outside of the office, Dustin enjoys all things outdoors and stays active in the community by participating in the rec leagues at the YMCA. Between camping, fishing and being an active soccer player, he finds time to spend with his wife. They are the proud owner of two dogs and volunteer at the local animal shelter frequently. His focus is not only just finding borrower’s forever home but finding the animals forever homes as well.
