The favorite part of my job is the job itself.  I love helping people achieve the American Dream of homeownership.  Seeing and hearing the excitement of my clients after they have the keys to their new home in their hand is priceless.

I really love spending time with my family and friends at my two favorite places.  Cape Coral Florida and Lake of the Ozarks.  There are so many fun things to do at both places.

The best advice I ever received was from a friend of mine when the day I made the decision to go into the mortgage business back in 1992. (I was living in a mobile home at the time.)

He said “Do you really think you will fail at this?”

I said “I hope not and I am not afraid to work.”

He asked “What is the worst thing that could happen?”

I said “I guess I move back home to my parents basement and live off of them.”

He asked “Do you think that will happen?” I said “No”.

He said “Welcome to the mortgage business!”

To this day I am so thankful for that nudge in this direction.  Opportunity doesn’t always knock at the most opportune times.  You just have to be willing to answer the door and see where it takes you.
